Safety & Proper Use
Wild Flow & Wise Choices
Welcome to the Wild Flow family! We are so excited for you to find your rhythm, test your balance, and take your practice to the next level. Our boards are designed for those who love to move, play, and explore their limits.
However, finding your flow means being smart and staying grounded. To keep the good vibes going and your body safe, please read and agree to the following guidelines.
1. The Pre-Flow Ritual (Inspect Your Board)
Before every single session, take a moment to connect with your board. Give it a quick "health check." Do not use the board if you notice:
- Any cracks, deep splinters, or structural shifts in the wood.
- All hardware is safely secured and carry strap rings are intact.
- Any signs of wear that look like they might compromise the board's strength.
Wild Flow Yogaboards LLC isn’t responsible for injuries caused by using a board that is damaged or worn out. If it’s broken, don’t flow on it!
2. Find Your Ground
- Check the Surface: Only use your board on a flat, stable surface (like a yoga mat, carpet, solid ground).
- The "All-Points" Rule: If the surface is too rough or uneven, and all supports of the board are not firmly planted and touching the ground, do not use the board. Using the board on an uneven surface can cause it to tip or put uneven stress on the wood, which could lead to injury or damage to the board.
- Avoid the Slip: Never use your board on slippery tiles, wet grass, or loose gravel.
- Clear Your Space: Give yourself room to move. Make sure you have a "crash zone" of at least 5 feet around you, free of furniture, sharp corners, or pets.
3. Flow Responsibly
You are the captain of your own journey. By using this board, you acknowledge that balance training involves a risk of falling.
- Listen to Your Body: Don’t push yourself past your limits if you’re tired or dizzy.
- Stay Sharp: Never use the Wild Flow Yoga Board while under the influence of alcohol or anything else that might mess with your coordination.
- Supervision: We love adventurous kids, but they must be supervised by an adult at all times when using the board.
4. The Legal Groundwork (Assumption of Risk)
By stepping onto a Wild Flow Yoga Board, you (the User) understand that yoga and balance training are physical activities that carry a risk of injury.
You agree that you are using this product at your own risk. Wild Flow Yogaboards LLC (and its creators) will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages to you or your property that happen while using our products. This includes mishaps from misuse, lack of maintenance, or simply losing your balance during your practice.
5. Check with Your Pro
If you have a history of back, joint, or inner-ear (balance) issues, or if you are pregnant, please chat with a doctor before you start your Wild Flow journey. It’s always better to be safe so you can keep moving for years to come.
